Responsibilities
Financial
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial
statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports).
- Deliver monthly/quarterly/annual
financial summaries to senior management for data-driven decisions.
- Provide actionable insights on cost
savings, revenue improvement, and profit optimization.
- Conduct financial forecasts,
cost-benefit analyses, and profitability assessments aligned with organizational
goals.
Revenue
& Payment Management:
- Oversee mobile payment systems (mobile
wallets, banking, digital platforms) and ensure seamless integration with
accounting software.
- Collaborate with IT to optimize
real-time payment tracking, reconciliation, and system efficiency.
- Strengthen revenue collection processes,
ensuring completeness and accuracy of transactions.
- Monitor mobile payment fraud risks and
discrepancies, implementing preventive measures.
Cash
Flow & Transaction Management:
- Manage cash flow to meet operational and
long-term obligations.
- Reconcile bank accounts and mobile
payment platforms regularly.
- Streamline accounts payable/receivable
processes, resolving vendor disputes and ensuring timely payments.
Financial
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with local financial
regulations, healthcare guidelines, and accounting standards.
- Conduct internal audits to assess
financial controls and propose corrective actions.
- Collaborate with external auditors and
regulators to maintain financial integrity.
- Mitigate risks related to mobile
payments and data security.
Payroll
& Benefits Management:
- Oversee payroll processing, including
salaries, benefits, and statutory deductions.
- Partner with HR to maintain accurate
employee records and resolve discrepancies.
Inventory
& Supplier Financials:
- Collaborate with inventory teams to
track medical supplies/equipment costs and valuations.
- Negotiate payment terms with suppliers
and ensure timely vendor payments.
Accounting
Systems Development & Optimization:
- Lead the development and customization
of accounting systems tailored to the healthcare facility’s needs,
ensuring scalability and adaptability.
- Integrate mobile payment platforms with
financial software for seamless workflows.
- Maintain secure, organized digital
filing systems for audits and compliance.
Budgeting,
Planning & Forecasting:
- Assist in creating and monitoring annual
budgets, aligning with strategic goals.
- Analyze departmental spending, forecast trends, and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Mentor finance team members t o ensure
accuracy and high performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (HR,
procurement, operations) to enhance financial and operational efficiency.
Skills
and qualifications
Key
Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in
Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/equivalent certification preferred.
- ·
Experience: 5+ years in
accounting/financial management, preferably in healthcare. Experience in accounting
systems development, mobile payment integration, and financial software
required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in
ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks), Excel, mobile payment platforms, and accounting
systems customization. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and tax laws.
- Analytical Skills: Strong financial
forecasting, problem-solving, and cost-management abilities.
- Communication: Ability to simplify
complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders.
- Integrity: Commitment to ethical
standards and confidentiality in handling sensitive data.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead
teams, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
